The food was very good very big servings your going going to have extra to take home. Sevice was great very pleasant surprise so attentive. It was a very nice place to eat I would try it you’ll like it. It’s a nice place!! For 2 adults we didn’t spend a lot on 2 large meals.
Let’s start with the service Bailey! She was awesome and very helpful in narrowing down the menu. I will ask for Bailey when I return. I ordered a burger melt. It wasn’t bad I would order it again but I can’t give it five stars. Fries are Krinkle fries. Just ok. Atmosphere, ok.
One of the best restaurants, at least for breakfast! Our server was amazing. Wish we could have taken her with us. LOL. We were camping nearby and found this place on our way back home. Wish we could get out here more often. Love their hot sauce!
A local treasure that knows how to treat patrons and food did not disappoint
This is a really good small town highway dinner. They have a big menu, the staff was really friendly, & the food was really good. They have daily specials & pie in the dessert case that you walk by when you walk in the door. I got the chicken fried steak which came out completely covered in gravy & they served real mashed potatoes with it, not instant. My wife got the Turkey Club which had actual chunks of turkey breast, not just store deli meat. The breakfast looks great & I'll definitely be back to try that out sometime soon!
Walking into the restaurant took me back to the 1970s. Formica tabletops, drop ceiling embedded with bright spotlights, large slatted faux wood blinds, and a pie case just inside the door. I expected the food to be good, and was not disappointed. I ordered the Eggs Benedict special for $9.99. It came with a large portion of hash browns that had a little crunch without being overdone. I took a star off of service, because I asked the waitress if it came with a side, and she said she didn't know. I asked her who would know, and she left for a little bit, then came back and said she thought it came with a biscuit. I asked her again if she could find out for sure, and she finally came back and said hash browns. I should not have had to push her repeatedly to get an answer. I have had Eggs Benedict in many restaurants, and this was the best! It came with a thick slice of ham steak, and the eggs were perfectly done, soft but not undercooked. The hollandaise was just the way I like it. So often the hollandaise has so much lemon it overwhelms all of the other flavors, but this had just a little bit of that lemon tang. I would have ordered milk or orange juice, but the drink prices were very high, in my opinion. I just couldn't see spending $3.79 for a glass of milk, so I had water instead. I would come back again and again!
